Tim is an English professor who specializes in freshman composition because that class is such an inflection point for students, but he also participates in a wide variety of activities.  He practices writing daily, working mostly on plays and fiction. In his free time he enjoys juggling, playing a variety of stringed instruments (including a cigar box guitar), improv, magic, and games. Some also claim his hobbies include changing hairstyles, but Tim describes that as more of a joyful traipse through self-expression.
